Job Summary

The product owner is responsible for the ownership and managing of the backlog for their assigned value stream(s), contributes to the product roadmap, and understands customer and market needs for the PremierOne product. The product owner works in partnership with the product manager and relies on their technical knowledge and background to define user stories and acceptance criteria, engage with assigned Engineering teams, and groom the backlog.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop strong relationships with UI/UX teams and work in close partnership with research and design colleagues
• Actively involved in initiative and epic refinement as an integral member of the Product Management team
• Responsible for building, editing, and maintaining the team backlog, including user stories, defects, and research spikes
• Review and prioritize the backlog as part of the preparatory work for release and sprint planning, including coordination of dependencies with other POs
• Contribute to the roadmap
• Involved in release planning, reviewing vision, and content presentations to assigned engineering team(s)
• Collaborate with the team to detail user stories with acceptance criteria
• Maintain the proper flow of features, user stories, and acceptance criteria in the backlog
