Job Summary

We are currently looking for a Program Manager in the United States. This role is perfect for an experienced, highly organized, and technically proficient professional who excels at managing complex software programs. You will act as the primary point of contact for a strategic customer account, overseeing delivery and support across multi-state operations that serve millions of members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for all program-related customer interactions, building trust through consistent communication.
  • Lead director and manager-level engagements, translating business requirements into actionable technical specifications.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and value realization of multiple concurrent projects and program workstreams.
  • Define project plans including objectives, timelines, dependencies, resources, and change management strategies.
  • Monitor risks, resolve issues, and ensure adherence to project schedules while proactively escalating concerns.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, Engineering, Operations, and Services, to ensure seamless delivery and support.
  • Drive process improvements that enhance program efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare presentations, maintain a single source of truth for program status, and communicate progress to internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of technical education and experience.
  • 7+ years of experience managing complex, billable software delivery projects for external clients.
  • Proven experience as a Single Point of Contact for large enterprise accounts, with demonstrated stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Strong understanding of software development processes, including Agile methodologies (SCRUM/Kanban).
  • Technical acumen to understand system architectures, data models, API integrations, and solution feasibility.
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to take ownership and drive accountability across matrixed organizations without direct authority.
  • Familiarity with healthcare payer operations, care management platforms, or Medicaid programs is a plus.
  • Experience with JIRA, SmartSheet, API integrations, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), and regulatory compliance is desirable.
