Job Summary

We are currently looking for a Software Build/Install Engineer in India. As a Software Build/Install Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust build and deployment systems for large-scale SaaS applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain build and deployment systems for multi-tenant SaaS applications.
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
• Package software and manage installation processes using tools like RPM, InstallShield, NSIS, or WiX Toolset.
• Collaborate with development teams to streamline deployment workflows and optimize release cycles.
• Monitor and troubleshoot build pipelines, ensuring reliability across Linux, Windows, and macOS environments.
• Automate repetitive tasks and improve operational efficiency using scripting languages such as Bash, PowerShell, or Python.
• Support containerized deployments using Docker and Kubernetes, and work with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of build systems, deployment processes, and operational procedures.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in building large-scale distributed applications.
• Strong experience in SaaS application development, microservices, and cloud-based architectures.
• Proficiency with software packaging, installation tools, and CI/CD platforms.
• Solid understanding of operating systems (Linux, Windows, macOS) and version control systems (Git).
• Expertise in scripting, automation, and debugging complex workflows.
• Familiarity with containerization, orchestration, and cloud platforms.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with attention to detail.
• Java, SQL Server, or MySQL experience is a plus.
