Job Summary
This position is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing field operations across a designated region, ensuring the successful execution of installations, network maintenance, and customer support activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee daily field operations, including staffing, scheduling, inventory management, and escalation handling across multiple markets.
- Train, coach, and evaluate field technicians through ride-alongs, performance reviews, and ongoing development programs.
- Implement, monitor, and report on KPIs, technical standards, and quality control procedures to ensure timely and accurate work order completion.
- Supervise installations, troubleshooting, outages, and maintenance activities, ensuring completed work meets operational standards.
- Conduct safety audits and enforce compliance with regulatory guidelines across all field activities.
- Collaborate with leadership to forecast labor needs, develop staffing plans, and manage contractor relationships.
- Participate in on-call rotation to provide real-time field support and troubleshooting.
Requirements
- 10+ years of field experience in the telecommunications industry.
- 5+ years managing installation and infrastructure teams for residential and commercial internet services.
- Proven leadership experience as a Manager or Senior Manager overseeing field operations.
- Strong knowledge of telecommunications technologies, site design, and installation methods.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Valid driver’s license and clean motor vehicle record.
- Ability to operate effectively in Central and/or Mountain time zones.
