Job Summary
Geotab is seeking a IT Asset Management Specialist who will manage the IT asset lifecycle for optimization and compliance through various ITAM practices and cross-organizational collaboration. If you love technology, and are keen to join an industry leader — we would love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and execute Geotab’s IT Asset Management (ITAM) practice to ensure an optimized and compliant hardware and software environment.
- Manage asset record keeping, audits, procurement, documentation, configuration analysis, hardware testing, selection, and process integration.
- Focus on tracking, reporting, license discovery, ELP creation, and license metrics.
- Work closely with IT infrastructure and service teams to determine trends in asset performance.
- Gather feedback for device satisfaction.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of CMDB, ITIL principles, and the specific business services that it supports.
- Knowledge of ITSM processes.
- Ability to engage and communicate clearly and effectively.
