Job Summary

The Client Implementation Specialist plays a pivotal role in ensuring a seamless onboarding, transition, and conversion experience for financial services clients. This position focuses on delivering accurate, compliant, and efficient implementation of platform solutions while collaborating with internal teams and engaging directly with clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate client onboarding, system conversions, and transitions to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.
  • Conduct data analysis, reconciliation, and review to support smooth platform adoption.
  • Engage with clients to communicate documentation requirements, regulatory considerations, and onboarding expectations.
  • Lead client-facing calls, meetings, and follow-up activities throughout the onboarding lifecycle.
  • Manage project coordination activities, including scheduling, reporting, issue tracking, and risk escalation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet client needs and ensure process efficiency.
  • Recommend platform and process improvements based on client feedback, data insights, and operational analysis.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in client onboarding, transitions, or financial services operations.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Hands-on experience with cost basis and tax reporting platforms.
  • Proven ability to manage end-to-end onboarding and conversion processes, including system setup, data migration, and documentation.
  • Experience in project coordination or management, including planning, reporting, and issue resolution.
  • Strong client engagement and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex processes clearly.
  • Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and proactive problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with onboarding systems or workflow tools is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams.
