Liquid Personnel is seeking Adult Social Workers to lead the Adult Recovery Community Hospital (ARCH) Hospital Discharge Team as a Social Work Team Manager, ensuring safe, person-centred transitions from hospital to home while upholding statutory responsibilities and promoting integrated care across multidisciplinary teams.

Job Summary

Team Manager needed for ARCH Hospital Discharge Team at Stepping Hill Hospital (Stockport).

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Adult Recovery Community Hospital (ARCH) Hospital Discharge Team.
• Ensure safe, person-centred transitions from hospital to home.
• Supervise social workers, ASYEs, and apprenticeships in a fast-paced hospital setting.
• Work a minimum of 4 days on-site, including Stepping Hill and Regent House.
• Support hospital flow and multidisciplinary working.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years’ management experience.
• Strong legislative knowledge: Care Act, MCA, BIM, safeguarding, and discharge pathways.
• Social Work England registration.
• Eligible to work in the UK.
• Hold a full UK driving licence.
• Post-qualified experience.
• Degree level or equivalent in Social Work.
