Job Summary

The Priory Group is looking for a registered Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide rehabilitation and recovery for men with mental health issues and support those with neuro-cognitive disorders, including dementia and challenging behaviors.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide rehabilitation and recovery support to men experiencing mental health challenges.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to assess needs and develop care plans.
• Promote independence and well-being, including safeguarding responsibilities and emotional support.
• Help individuals access community resources.
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to service improvement through reflective practice.

Requirements

• HCPC registration and a degree-level qualification in Occupational Therapy.
• Proven experience in adult mental health, ideally within acute or forensic settings.
• Strong understanding of the Mental Health Act and risk assessment frameworks.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of an MDT.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and prioritization skills.
• Experience in delivering therapeutic interventions and group work in secure environments is highly desirable.
