Job Summary

Our client in Somerset is looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to join their Adults Services team.

Key Responsibilities

• Support triage decision-making processes and undertake Section 42 enquiries to assess and mitigate risks.
• Develop and implement protection plans tailored to individuals at risk of abuse or neglect.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with safeguarding procedures.
• Work closely with vulnerable adults across Somerset.

Required Qualifications

• Previous experience in adult safeguarding.
• Strong understanding of safeguarding practices.
• Confident in record-keeping, risk management, and decision-making in triage situations.
• Ability to travel for site visits.
• Social Work England registration.
• Eligible to work in the UK.
• Degree-level qualification in Social Work.
