Job Summary
The Distribution Center (DC) Trainer will be responsible for preparing new and current employees by training the associate on the various DC operation functions, equipment and materials used. Training associate levels may include, Exempt, Hourly (Non-Exempt), and Directors.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan on the job trainings, materials, and activities based on the business operation projected forecast needs.
- Draft and deliver related materials and training processes.
- Facilitate a successful learning process.
- Lead the various departmental training assignees and delegate the DC Operations training efforts.
- Create documents/SOPs/Best Methods in DC/Fulfillment setting.
- Participate in cross function coverage in the event support is needed.
Requirements
- 3–5 years in training setting.
- Solid comprehension of methodologies, training, processes, and standards.
- 2-5 years of experience delivering training with big box DCs.
- Advanced MS Office, Excel, Powerpoint skills.
- Ability to communicate in English/Spanish.
- Ability to understand WMS systems Oracle and High-Jump training.
