Job Summary

As General Manager, you will own end-to-end market performance—driving operational excellence, building scalable systems, and turning strategy into measurable business results. This role includes setting up and leading local operations, hiring and managing high-performing teams, building strategic partnerships, executing local product and marketing strategies, and ensuring strong product localization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own market performance and establish local operations

Take full accountability for regional performance and local office setup. Lead execution of strategic initiatives, own business KPIs, and build scalable operating systems to support rapid growth. Ensure operational efficiency, clear accountability, and consistent delivery of measurable outcomes.

  • Build and lead a high-performing local team (PR / Marketing / Support)

Recruit, develop, and lead top-tier talent with a strong culture of ownership, speed, and execution. Set clear roles, performance standards, and workforce plans aligned with business priorities.

  • Drive strategic partnerships and distribution growth

Identify, negotiate, and execute partnerships to accelerate commercial growth and market penetration. Represent BJAK externally and build strong ecosystem relationships that deliver sustainable distribution and revenue impact.

  • Design and execute local product and marketing strategies

Identify growth opportunities and lead local go-to-market execution to achieve revenue, acquisition, and retention targets. Track performance closely and continuously optimize strategies using data-driven insights.

  • Localise the product for market success

Work closely with product, tech, and customer teams to adapt BJAK’s solutions to local regulations, customer behavior, and cultural nuances. Ensure the end-to-end customer journey is intuitive, compliant, and competitive.
