We are currently looking for a Manager, Software Engineering. In this role, you will lead talented engineering teams to create exceptional outcomes for our customers. Key Responsibilities

  • Leading a team of ~20 engineers and testers in Agile teams focused on software improvement.
  • Participating in technical delivery activities, providing leadership from system design to incident response.
  • Mentoring and coaching team members, ensuring opportunities for professional development.
  • Cultivating a collaborative atmosphere encouraging authenticity and potential.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to guide initiatives from conception to production.
  • Enhancing team processes for optimal outcomes.
  • Balancing immediate product goals with future technical needs and team health.
  • Coordinating with other delivery leaders for seamless collaboration on projects.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a leadership role within a Software Engineering team, preferably in a consumer device setting.
  • Extensive experience in managing individuals, providing feedback and conducting performance reviews.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, preferably in C++.
  • Familiarity with best practices and challenges in consumer software product development.
  • Ability to advocate for technical approaches and bridge gaps between engineering and leadership.
  • Strong understanding of project management.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
