Job Summary

Provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service. Assists Department Manager to present the freshest most innovative and best quality products at a competitive retail price to customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service by exhibiting caring, concern and patience in all customer interactions.
• Smiles and greets customers in a friendly manner.
• Assists customers by escorting them to the products they’re looking for, loading or unloading heavy items, and performing other tasks to enhance the shopping experience.
• Ensures department standards are met and coordinates food operation with the salad bar/juice bar area.
• Monitors refrigeration temperatures to ensure freshness and sets sales areas to promote products.
• Handles and satisfies customer and vendor issues on a daily basis.
• Trains new employees and ensures proper sanitation procedures are practiced.

Requirements

• Ability to provide excellent customer service.
• Knowledge of produce items and their uses.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
