Job Summary

This role involves developing and maintaining automated tests, collaborating closely with other teams, and building a robust test architecture that supports continuous integration. Your efforts will help identify bugs early in the development cycle, enhancing the overall user experience of our products. You will play a critical part in delivering functional and reliable mobile applications to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the UI automation process for the iOS app.
• Create and maintain automated tests for the XCUITest test suite.
• Collaborate with manual QA testers to identify areas needing automated coverage.
• Write test plans for new features and review scenarios with the iOS team.
• Identify and rectify automated test failures through regular maintenance.
• Contribute to best practices for engineering alongside QA and other engineering partners.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as an automation engineer (QA or SDET).
• 3+ years automating tests for the iOS platform using XCUITest with Swift.
• Proficiency in writing UI tests following best practices.
• Experience executing test runs and reviewing failures against native mobile apps.
• Familiarity with CI tools like AWS CodeBuild, CircleCI, or Jenkins.
• Experience with cloud device farms such as Firebase Test Lab or AWS Device Farm.
• Background in manual testing on mobile devices.
• Understanding of QA best practices and strong communication skills.
