Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated Interior Design Intern to join our dynamic design team. This internship provides hands-on experience in commercial real estate interior design while working on projects that shape the future of workplace environments. You’ll collaborate with experienced designers and contribute to creating innovative, functional spaces for our diverse client portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing design concepts and space planning solutions for commercial real estate projects
  • Support the creation of presentation materials, including mood boards, material palettes, and design renderings
  • Participate in client meetings and site visits to gain exposure to the full design process
  • Help prepare construction documents and coordinate with project teams
  • Conduct research on design trends, materials, and furniture selections
  • Support project coordination activities and maintain project documentation
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including architects, engineers, and project managers
  • Contribute to sustainability initiatives and workplace strategy projects

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design required
  • Recent graduate or graduating senior from an accredited interior design program
  • Proficiency in design software including AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of Enscape preferred but not required
  • Strong visual communication skills and portfolio demonstrating design capabilities
  • Understanding of space planning principles and building codes basics
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
