Job Summary

The Director of Development, Major Gifts, will support the Department of Computer Science (UTCS) by identifying and cultivating new donor prospects with a capacity of $100,000+.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and manage a portfolio of 70-90 prospective and active donors.
• Solicit gifts to support operations and grow the endowment.
• Engage in qualification, strategy development, and relationship building.
• Deliver funding proposals and produce $2,000,000+ in contributed revenue annually.
• Collaborate with Computer Science leadership and development staff.
• Utilize fundraising databases and maintain electronic documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of three years’ experience in major gifts fundraising.
• Proven success in developing and executing donor strategies.
• Strong emotional intelligence and intellect.
