Job Summary
The Teaching Assistant (TA) will support the course MIMM 214 – Introductory Immunology by assisting in various tasks related to the course.
Key Responsibilities
- Correct formative assessments.
- Organize pre-exam review sessions (2 sessions, one before the midterm and another one before the final).
- Answer emails and discussion board questions from students promptly.
- Provide support in invigilating the quizzes and the midterm.
- Host quiz and midterm viewing sessions.
- Provide support and feedback to the professor in the preparation and logistics of teaching during the semester.
Requirements
- The TA must be enrolled in a graduate Studies Program in Microbiology and Immunology or pursuing a graduate degree with a focus on immunology.
- A solid understanding of immunology is a must.
- Must be authorized to work in Canada and willing to work in Quebec.
