Job Summary
Responsible for decorating bakery items. You will assist customers with their bakery orders by the telephone and in person at the store. Additionally, you will ensure a positive company image by providing courteous, friendly, and efficient customer service to customers and team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service by exhibiting caring, concern and patience in all customer interactions.
- Smiles and greets customers in a friendly manner.
- Assists customers by escorting them to the products they’re looking for, securing products that are out of reach, and loading or unloading heavy items.
- Answers the telephone promptly and provides friendly, helpful service to customers who call.
- Takes customer orders at Bakery counter.
- Decorates bakery items in a timely manner.
- Ensures department standards are met.
- Communicates with bakery manager regarding displays, weekly ads and special needs.
- Understands and practices proper sanitation procedures.
Requirements
- Ability to work as a team to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Ability to keep current on new designs and trends.
- Ability to operate as a lead worker with part-time or other employees.
