Job Summary

As a critical member of our fully distributed team, you’ll play a key role in optimizing the code production process and enhancing team collaboration. Your contributions will ensure that our engineering practices evolve alongside our growing product demands.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducting internal research to understand the workflows of engineers
• Building cross-functional trust by understanding team needs
• Synthesizing diverse needs into cohesive strategies for leadership
• Interfacing with leadership and vendors to acquire necessary tools
• Improving internal tooling processes company-wide
• Crafting long-term strategies with a balance of short-term requirements
• Being a visible voice for team feedback and understanding
• Optimizing codebase patterns and enhancing CI toolchains

Requirements

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience implementing team-wide process/tooling changes
• Ability to assess needs and trade-offs in scaling organizations
• Understanding of developer tool chains (IDEs, text editors, etc.)
• Experience in writing technical documentation and guides
• 8+ years of experience in software development
• Familiarity with TypeScript, React, and Postgres is a plus
