Job Summary

We are currently looking for a Temporary Manager – REMOTE. In this role, you will lead complex insurance risk and controls engagements while providing independent oversight and technical leadership. Your expertise in Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance will be pivotal as you navigate fast-paced, high-impact environments, ensuring effective stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead integrated risk and controls audits across claims operations, reserving, payments, and insurance data quality.
  • Plan and execute internal audits of P&C insurance operations, focusing on internal controls, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
  • Assess control environments, including third-party and outsourced service provider reliance models.
  • Evaluate loss and LAE reserving governance, data flows, methodologies, and estimation uncertainty.
  • Manage engagement scope, timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder expectations.
  • Prepare audit findings and present recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in insurance audit, internal audit, or risk consulting roles supporting Property & Casualty insurance organizations.
  • Strong expertise in claims operations, reserving processes, internal controls, and insurance data flows.
  • Proven ability to engage effectively with senior executives and cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated success in fast-paced, high-pressure, project-based environments.
  • Relevant professional certifications preferred (CPA, CIA, CFE, etc.).
