Key Responsibilities
- Review custom requirements for Technical Feasibility and Safety
- Specify, size, and select subsystem components for power systems designs according to Engineering Guidelines
- Work with Suppliers to define scope of supply and material costs for custom options
- Select correct design concepts and fundamental technology used for new products or improvement for existing products
- Develop Validation Plan to test and validate top level power systems as well as sub-level power system components
- Estimate Development, Testing, and Production labor for quoting custom solutions
- Review and verify product performance via testing
- Assess reliability performance of product versus requirement
- Complete work according to standard engineering principles and practices
- Follow the company ERP procedures and maintenance as documented
- Follow the company quality management procedures as documented
- Promote a compliance culture in area of responsibility
- Perform special projects as required
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Automotive, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering plus 5 years’ experience in Automotive, Mechanical or Electrical engineering or 7 years Automotive, Mechanical, or Electrical engineering experience
- Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S without sponsorship

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent organizational, planning and follow-up skills
- Strong project management experience
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong presentation skills
- Proficient with PC and MS Office Suite
