Key Responsibilities

• Review custom requirements for Technical Feasibility and Safety
• Specify, size, and select subsystem components for power systems designs according to Engineering Guidelines
• Work with Suppliers to define scope of supply and material costs for custom options
• Select correct design concepts and fundamental technology used for new products or improvement for existing products
• Develop Validation Plan to test and validate top level power systems as well as sub-level power system components
• Estimate Development, Testing, and Production labor for quoting custom solutions
• Review and verify product performance via testing
• Assess reliability performance of product versus requirement
• Complete work according to standard engineering principles and practices
• Follow the company ERP procedures and maintenance as documented
• Follow the company quality management procedures as documented
• Promote a compliance culture in area of responsibility
• Perform special projects as required

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Automotive, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering plus 5 years’ experience in Automotive, Mechanical or Electrical engineering or 7 years Automotive, Mechanical, or Electrical engineering experience
• Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S without sponsorship

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent organizational, planning and follow-up skills
• Strong project management experience
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Strong presentation skills
• Proficient with PC and MS Office Suite
