Job Summary

As a Data Analyst, this person will be responsible for reconciling high-volume card payment transactions between network and platform data using complex SQL queries to ensure financial integrity. They will collaborate with engineering, operations, and finance teams to investigate discrepancies, enhance data models, and develop insightful dashboards using BI tools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Run daily and periodic reports to reconcile card payment transactions between network data (Visa, Mastercard, etc.) and platform data, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and financial integrity.
  • Write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries to analyze large-scale transactional data and support reconciliation, reporting, and audit activities.
  • Understand, validate, and ensure accurate execution of card payment and money movement rules within system workflows and data pipelines.
  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, and finance teams to investigate discrepancies, mitigate risks, and resolve transaction or money movement issues.
  • Develop deep expertise in payment domains—including transaction, reconciliation, and fund movement.
  • Collect and apply feedback from stakeholders to enhance data models, reconciliation processes, and reporting frameworks.
  • Modeling and designing modern data structures in SQL/NoSQL databases, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
  • Developing and maintaining dashboards using tools like Looker, Looker Studio, and other BI platforms to visualize high-volume data effectively.
  • Crafting and optimizing complex SQL queries to handle high-volume data efficiently.
  • Collaborating with internal business teams and external stakeholders to define requirements and deliver impactful reporting solutions.
