Job Summary
Seeking a UT Austin student employee (work study or non-work study) to serve as front-line customer and student service representative for the Office of Student Affairs in the UT Austin College of Pharmacy.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide coverage to the Office of Student Affairs front desk.
- Welcome and receive all incoming visitors, students, staff and faculty.
- Troubleshoot needs of students.
- Direct traffic to appropriate resources.
- Provide support to Student Affairs, Academic Affairs, Continuing Education/ Development; etc.
- Assist with financial transactions.
- Complete projects related to data entry and analysis.
- Assist with other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in a customer service setting.
- Experience working in a college setting.
- Experience handling sensitive information.
- Experience with multitasking.
- Detail oriented and uses organizational tools.
- Demonstrate openness, inclusiveness, sensitivity, and the ability to interact respectfully with all people and understand individuals’ differences.
- Demonstrate personal accountability, ability to learn from mistakes, and effective work habits, e.g., punctuality, working productively with others, and time workload management.
- Professional demeanor.
- Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
