Job Summary
The Coordinator, AU Cornerstone is primarily responsible for coordinating the day-to-day functions of the AU Cornerstone Program. This includes, but is not limited to, planning and executing a variety of programs and social, academic, and developmental events for prospective and current students, and coordinating all aspects of the AU Cornerstone program.
Key Responsibilities
- Supports the academic components of the AU Cornerstone Program, ensuring alignment between coursework and experiential learning.
- Collaborates with faculty to support the Gateway to Greece course and the Internship Practicum.
- Assists with course logistics, student engagement, and academic success initiatives.
- Oversees grade and conduct coordination, tracks student progress, and ensures academic policies and procedures are communicated effectively.
- Assists with program assessment and evaluation by gathering and analyzing academic and student success data.
- Advises students on career exploration, professional development, and goal-setting.
- Supports students in identifying and securing internships, including resume development and interview preparation.
- Coordinates career-related programming in collaboration with the Career Center and other campus partners.
- Connects students with alumni and professionals relevant to their career interests.
- Organizes workshops and employer engagement opportunities that align with student career aspirations.
Requirements
- Experience in academic advising or student support.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with faculty and staff.
