Job Summary

Are you ready to be part of the TAVI (Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation) Market Development Team having a strong focus on marketing strategy and execution on the field with the objective to support the growing healthcare demand and to make it sustainable for the Healthcare System?

Your role will be to work on the field being responsible to reach objectives in your area providing targeted, differentiated programs enabling therapy expansion and to help market development accounts grow faster than the market, delivering value “beyond the valve” & protecting market share.

Our TAVI Market development specialist role in Spain is becoming even more crucial and strategic to drive the healthcare system transformation and to position Medtronic Structural Heart not only as product provider, but as valued partner too, supporting patients, customers, and the System to overcome barriers limiting access of care and to make Medtronic product innovation sustainable and accessible. For this role, you will be based in Madrid and expected to travel across the country.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for execution on the field of market expansion and market share protection strategies for Spain, as part of the local business Team and reporting to Western Europe Senior Market Development Manager
  • Responsible for market development initiatives targets on the area – develop, execute, and measure key market development tactics to advance patient access and utilization of Medtronic TAVI therapy in close collaboration with the sales team
  • Contribute to deploy available/propose innovative programs (educational, informative, collaboration, partnership) with the focus on TAVI lean patient pathway, referral integration, economic impact of better resources utilization with TAVI implanters, general practitioners, general consultants, patients/caregivers, and hospitals management
  • Create awareness concerning existing new TAVI therapy indications. Identify clinical and organizational evidence gaps
  • Contribute to the deployment at local level of national programs with scientific societies, patient associations, regional decision makers
  • Work in collaboration with Value & Access, Training & Education, Enterprise Accounts, Clinical colleagues to develop and launch programs targeted for clinical and non-clinical stakeholders, clinical, economic and evidence dissemination tools, information material and Elevate TAVI guides to drive adoption of the TAVI portfolio
  • Proactively contribute to develop tools, awareness and referral projects, congresses and events activities, T&E programs, communication plans, internal branding activities
