Job Summary
Technology Services is on the hunt for a passionate and innovative Software Developer to play a key role in supporting the university’s Public Policy Research Institute (PPRI), working on the Texas Indigent Defense Commission (TIDC) and Motor Vehicle Crime Prevention Authority (MVCPA) projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, test, and maintain our web-based applications
- Provide technical assistance to our customers
- Document systems procedures and guidelines
- Actively participate in quality assurance
- Participate in collaborative team software design
- Meet with customers and technical staff to determine their needs and requirements
- Engage in IT trainings and professional development activities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience AND 3 years of software development experience
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent customer services skills
