Job Summary

This position will require 3 days onsite in San Jose, CA. Drive strategic occupancy planning excellence as a Senior Occupancy Planner with JLL, where you’ll serve as a subject matter expert leading workplace optimization initiatives for Fortune 500 clients. You’ll develop comprehensive occupancy strategies, sequence complex group-level and individual moves, and resolve critical planning challenges while ensuring maximum space utilization and corporate guideline compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive development of occupancy plans and move sequencing strategies, ensuring alignment with corporate guidelines while maximizing space utilization across complex client portfolios.
• Foster critical relationships with Corporate Real Estate teams, Business Unit leadership, Corporate Finance, and Project Management to align planning strategies and resolve forecast discrepancies.
• Prepare comprehensive project status reports on actual versus projected seat demand, assemble top-down and bottom-up projections for annual planning horizons, and track occupancy metrics at building and group levels.
• Recommend, educate, and enforce space policies and standards while serving as subject matter expert on workplace programs and notifying clients of requested exceptions.
• Partner with move coordination, facility management, and occupancy planning teams to develop migration plans, conduct facility audits, and ensure cross-campus portfolio strategy alignment.
• Facilitate resolution of planning issues identified in customer meetings, reconcile projection discrepancies, and develop proactive solutions using occupancy metrics and industry trends.
• Assist in developing site-specific planning strategies with senior leadership, review planning approaches that drive construction projects, and support implementation initiatives.
