Job Summary

As a Staff Cloud Automation Engineer, you will be the key individual contributor driving high-impact, distributed systems from concept to production.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate as a high-impact technical individual contributor, owning the delivery and operational excellence of critical platform components.
• Collaborate with engineering and application teams to architect end-to-end solutions that span cloud-native services, hybrid deployments, and legacy integrations.
• Lead the design and implementation of CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Harness, and Octopus Deploy.
• Develop and maintain cloud migration roadmaps, leveraging Azure, AWS, and GCP capabilities.
• Build reusable automation components and integrate them with orchestration platforms and CMDB systems.
• Design and operate Tier-0 systems with high availability, telemetry, and observability standards.
• Collaborate with InfoSec and compliance teams to implement access controls, audit trails, and secure deployment practices.
• Conduct proof-of-concept evaluations for emerging technologies and mentor junior engineers.

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of expertise in server design, implementation, and maintenance.
• Proficiency in capacity planning and performance tuning.
• Deep knowledge of DevOps tooling (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, etc).
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline design and deployment automation.
• Proficiency in multi-cloud architecture (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, Ansible).
• Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python).
