Job Summary

We are currently looking for a Java Developer (Remote) in India. As a Java Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable software solutions in a fully remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain robust, scalable backend applications primarily using Java (or Python).
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines, DevOps processes, and cloud automation tasks.
• Work with containerized and orchestrated environments (AKS, Kubernetes) to ensure reliable deployments.
• Manage application performance, capacity planning, and troubleshooting across DEV, QA, and PROD environments.
• Collaborate with teams on cloud-native architectures, database interactions, and event streaming solutions (Kafka, MongoDB, Snowflake).
• Participate in cross-functional problem-solving, incident management, and system optimization initiatives.

Requirements

• 4–8 years of experience in software development, with strong proficiency in Java (preferred) or Python.
• Hands-on experience with DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (Azure or equivalent).
• Understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies (Kubernetes, AKS).
• Familiarity with databases such as MongoDB; experience with Snowflake is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of event streaming systems like Kafka/Confluent.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills across application and infrastructure layers.
• Ability to manage multiple environments (DEV, QA, PROD) and participate in incident management.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and adaptability in a remote, fast-paced environment.

Good to have

• Prior SRE experience, performance tuning knowledge, hands-on experience with Azure cloud services.
