Job Summary
The Account Manager – Global Client Partnerships supports project delivery, ongoing client relationships, and business development activities focused on depth and expansion within established global accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the lead point of contact for customer account management matters
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
- Develop proposals, negotiate contracts in partnership with the commercial affairs team
- Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders, and executive sponsors
- Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
- Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
- Develop business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet revenue targets
- Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
- Prepare reports on account status
- Collaborate with other members of the team to identify and grow opportunities
- Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed
- Coordinate with colleagues working on the same account to ensure consistent service
Requirements
- Product/Marketing Manager experience from the Pharmaceutical Industry or STEM analysis team experience
- Account manager for an agency working in the healthcare/pharmaceutical space
- A track record as a financially aware and self-starting pragmatist
- Evidence of having coordinated or managed significant projects
