Job Summary
The Administrative Assistant II will coordinate logistics for public, online, and customized programs, manage scheduling and resource coordination for classroom instruction, and provide technical support for online instruction.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate logistics for public, online, and customized programs, including communication with instructors, vendors, and students
- Manage scheduling and resource coordination for classroom instruction (in-person and online), events, and departmental operations
- Provide technical support for online instruction, including Zoom hosting
- Serve as the first point of contact for students, instructors, and the public
- Monitor departmental inboxes and respond or route inquiries appropriately
- Maintain electronic and physical records in compliance with university procedures
- Prepare and distribute communication materials using various technologies
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two years of relevant administrative, customer service, or data entry experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- College coursework or degree
- Experience with data entry into relational databases or CRM systems
- Previous experience in higher education or adult learning environments
- Demonstrated ability to support multiple managers and projects simultaneously
