Job Summary

We are currently looking for an Android Developer – Born Group in India. This role offers the opportunity to lead and contribute to the development of innovative Android applications, delivering high-quality mobile solutions for diverse business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and guide the Android development process from design to deployment.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, project owners, and engineers to gather, analyze, document, and estimate delivery scenarios.
• Design, develop, test, and implement Android code while reviewing code from other developers.
• Participate in architectural and design discussions, providing constructive feedback.
• Mentor and support a team of Android developers to ensure timely and quality delivery.
• Ensure adherence to code best practices, development trends, and performance standards.
• Explore and evaluate new technologies, design concepts, and development methodologies to improve applications.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Android development, with proven expertise in Android SDK, frameworks, and UI design principles.
• Strong proficiency in Java, Kotlin, Flutter, and OOP concepts.
• Hands-on experience with web APIs, RESTful services, and backend integration.
• Familiarity with design patterns like MVVM, VIPER, and Clean Architecture.
• Experience with performance profiling tools, GitHub/Bitbucket, and unit testing (e.g., JUnit).
• Knowledge of cloud messaging APIs, push notifications, and Agile development processes.
• Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills with effective communication in English.
• Prior experience in mentoring teams and delivering live apps on the Google Play Store.
