Job Summary

The Opportunity: Our client requires continued planning and technical support for IT application and website development and maintenance. The focus of these IT support activities is creation, development, maintenance, operation, and support of a web application infrastructure that provides an efficient, effective, reliable, and secure computing environment in support of the mission.

As a Senior SQL Application Developer, you will leverage your knowledge of PL/SQL, SQL, T-SQL packages, procedures, functions, and materialized views with application skills in .NET, bash, and Python, and back-end full-stack development to support mission-critical grant processing systems. You’ll help clients overcome their most difficult challenges using the latest approaches, tools, and technologies, leveraging your expertise in Oracle, SQL Server, and MySQL. You’ll help make sure the solutions developed by the team consider the available tools, utilities, and environments, and follow industry best practices. Join us. The world can’t wait.

Key Responsibilities

• 5+ years of experience with SQL Server, PL/SQL, and T-SQL development, including procedures and functions
• Experience creating solutions to complex problems within a collaborative team environment
• Experience with programming in languages, such as .NET, C#, Java, Python, or Web Services
• Ability to communicate with stakeholders with varying levels of technical understanding
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree

Nice If You Have

• Experience writing web service calls and performing application to database integration
• Experience developing and supporting applications anchored in Oracle, SQL Server, and MySQL, and emerging technologies, including Azure cloud and AI
• Experience assimilating user feedback into functionality or usability improvements
• Ability to work with automated testing or deployment tools, such as Jenkins or Cypress
• Ability to collaborate cross teams and with client stakeholders
