Job Summary
SWBC is seeking a talented individual to assist the Account Manager/Account Executive in providing information, rates, and quotes for all new and renewal Commercial lines policies by processing, and placing coverage based on the degree of risk indicated on the applications and within the underwriting guidelines provided by various carriers and/or brokers.
Key Responsibilities
- Assists Account Manager/Account Executive in providing information, rates, and quotes for all new and renewal Commercial lines policies.
- Reviews endorsements and policies for accuracy and adherence to underwriting guidelines.
- Maintains complete, accurate, and thorough files on every customer account.
- Completes Auto ID Cards, Certificates, Acord Applications & Supplemental Applications.
- Performs other duties as required.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalency.
- Willing to get P&C License.
- Working knowledge of PCs and related applications.
- Excellent analytical and problem resolution skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Able to type a minimum of 45 wpm accurately.
- Able to operate Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Able to work under sometimes stressful conditions.
- Able to attend continuing education classes and seminars.
- Able to stoop, kneel, and sit for long periods of time.
- Able to lift 10-20 lbs.
