Job Summary
Join JLL as we partner with a premier mixed-use development in Anaheim, where you’ll play a key role in managing the office component of this large-scale project. The Assistant General Manager (AGM) assists the General Manager (GM) in managing specific assets and ensuring client and tenant satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain knowledge of lease agreements and ensure compliance from an accounting and operations perspective.
- Ensure compliance with the development, revision, and implementation of property manuals and systems.
- Assist with the preparation of the annual budget documentation.
- Assist with monthly and quarterly variance reporting and forecasting.
- Participate in the development and implement the asset management plan.
- Inspect property and equipment and recommend projects for enhancing property value.
- Assign employees to duties according to guidelines.
- Arrange for property maintenance, alterations, and upkeep.
- Ensure high-quality and cost-effective services through competitive bidding and contract management.
- Maintain emergency evacuation procedures and life safety systems.
- Assist with compliance programs and policies.
- Serve as the primary/secondary contact for tenant service requests.
- Meet with tenant representatives regularly and communicate with the property team.
- Inspect properties to ensure compliance with standards and procedures.
- Manage the tenant move-in/move-out process.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum of five (5) years of commercial real estate or property management experience.
- Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
- Possesses financial and accounting acumen.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other required software programs.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Capability to work with limited standardization and interpret instructions effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
- LEED AP/Accreditation is preferred.
- Familiarity with various budget applications.
- California Real Estate License.
