Job Summary

We are currently looking for an Associate General Counsel – REMOTE. In this role, you will play a crucial part in shaping the legal framework that supports a dynamic technology organization. You will work closely with product and engineering teams to navigate complex deals while ensuring compliance and mitigating risks.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal guidance on sales-side commercial transactions
• Draft, negotiate, and review complex agreements
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams for product counseling
• Mitigate and manage risk associated with legal agreements
• Improve and update operational processes within the legal department
• Engage in cross-functional collaboration with various stakeholders
• Assist in establishing best practices for complex data in-licenses

Requirements

• 7+ years of practicing attorney experience
• 2+ years at a top-tier law firm
• 5+ years in-house at a technology company
• Experience with sales-side commercial transactions
• Technical background in computer science or engineering preferred
• Extensive experience in sales negotiations and complex deals
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Customer-centric orientation with practical negotiation skills
• Active membership in at least one US state bar
