Job Summary

This role offers an exciting opportunity for a proactive cybersecurity professional to protect critical systems and data from evolving threats. You will work within a dynamic security team to monitor, investigate, and respond to incidents while improving detection capabilities and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor, investigate, and respond to cybersecurity incidents and alerts.
  • Formalize and implement security product tuning to enhance detection capabilities.
  • Conduct forensic activities and after-action reviews to identify process improvements.
  • Document incidents, maintain knowledge base articles, and develop internal procedures.
  • Mentor and onboard new team members, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for assigned security products and initial escalation point.
  • Identify and implement automation to reduce repetitive tasks and improve efficiency.
  • Proactively propose improvements to reduce risk and potential future incidents.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years performing cybersecurity analyst duties or similar.
  • Intermediate-level security certifications (e.g., Security+, CySA+, GCIH).
  • Experience in operational/shift-based environments, including evenings and weekends.
  • Strong understanding of security best practices, risk mitigation, and compliance frameworks.
  • Ability to function effectively in high-stakes, high-pressure situations.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills in English.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Passion for continuous learning and maintaining industry-specific certifications.
