This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Data Analyst in United States. This role offers an opportunity to support data-driven decision-making by providing accurate reporting and data quality management.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain routine and ad hoc reports on demographics, program participation, and outcomes using SQL, Excel, PowerPoint, and other relevant software.
- Compile and analyze data from multiple sources, including internal services and partner datasets, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Develop and implement data quality processes, including SQL-based checks, to maintain integrity across reporting functions.
- Assist with statistical and descriptive analyses for projects and program evaluations under the guidance of senior staff.
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify data needs, support reporting requests, and communicate clearly regarding timelines and processes.
- Document processes and establish instructions for data quality and reporting functions, ensuring knowledge transfer to colleagues.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and pivot according to feedback and changing organizational needs.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in social science, business, or a related field strongly preferred; alternatively, a bachelor’s degree in a data-related field with 1+ year of post-degree experience in social services data and SQL.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working with data and/or research in social science or human services.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and Windows environment.
- Experience creating and modifying SQL queries; familiarity with statistical analysis software preferred.
- Knowledge of social science research methods and best practices.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work across teams and stakeholders.
- Experience with Evolv or similar data management systems is a plus.
