Key Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain routine and ad hoc reports on demographics, program participation, and outcomes using SQL, Excel, PowerPoint, and other relevant software.
  • Compile and analyze data from multiple sources, including internal services and partner datasets, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Develop and implement data quality processes, including SQL-based checks, to maintain integrity across reporting functions.
  • Assist with statistical and descriptive analyses for projects and program evaluations under the guidance of senior staff.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify data needs, support reporting requests, and communicate clearly regarding timelines and processes.
  • Document processes and establish instructions for data quality and reporting functions, ensuring knowledge transfer to colleagues.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and pivot according to feedback and changing organizational needs.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in social science, business, or a related field strongly preferred; alternatively, a bachelor’s degree in a data-related field with 1+ year of post-degree experience in social services data and SQL.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience working with data and/or research in social science or human services.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and Windows environment.
  • Experience creating and modifying SQL queries; familiarity with statistical analysis software preferred.
  • Knowledge of social science research methods and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work across teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience with Evolv or similar data management systems is a plus.
