Job Summary

As a Data QA Engineer, Analytics, you will assist the Analytics team by testing features that require an exchange of data with external and internal systems. You will work closely with other software engineers to rigorously test data-driven features, focusing on validation processes that often operate without a user interface, and ensure developed code meets stated objectives and adheres to the team’s quality standards. This position will report directly to the Lead QA Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate in an Agile environment to design, build and deliver high-quality data pipelines, models and integrations.
• Partner with Product Management to triage and prioritize issues and work with development teams to eliminate bottlenecks.
• Implement and enforce data validation processes to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and trustworthiness of data.
• Design and maintain test cases specifically for data accuracy, transformation, and performance.
• Propose and write automations to test complex data solutions and third party integrations.

Requirements

• 3+ years of QA experience as an integral part of development teams.
• Strong debugging skills with a focus on identifying root causes.
• Extensive experience in relational databases such as MySQL.
• Proficient in automated testing frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Cypress, Selenium).
• Experienced in at least one scripting language.

Benefits

This position offers a base salary of $105,000 and company equity.
