Job Summary
We are currently looking for a Director of Finance & Operations in Texas. This role is a hands-on, strategic leadership position responsible for overseeing finance, operations, HR, and legal functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, manage, and maintain financial models, budgets, forecasts, and scenario planning.
- Oversee accounting, cash flow, bookkeeping, banking relationships, and financial compliance.
- Coordinate investor reporting, fundraising support, and board communications.
- Manage operations including manufacturing timelines, logistics, order fulfillment, and inventory systems.
- Build scalable processes and operational frameworks to support growth and product launches.
- Administer legal and compliance activities, including contracts, corporate governance, equity management, and risk mitigation.
- Support HR functions such as onboarding, payroll coordination, benefits enrollment, hiring processes, and culture development.
Requirements
- 3–5+ years of experience in finance, operations, or a similar cross-functional leadership role; hardware or consumer product experience is a plus.
- Strong financial acumen with proficiency in modeling, analysis, and scenario planning.
- Proven ability to design and implement operational systems and processes from the ground up.
- Highly organized, proactive, and self-motivated, with strong problem-solving skills.
- Collaborative and ego-free, capable of supporting and elevating cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication skills, able to switch between strategic discussions and detailed execution.
- Comfortable operating in ambiguous, early-stage environments and driving results independently.
