Job Summary

The Discount and Payment Processor – Specialist is responsible for assisting in the overall operation of the student discount process and payment processing. They will complete a timely and accurate review, payment posting, and discount processing university wide system applications and ensure compliance with university, state, and federal regulations along with standard accounting procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Track and process student discounts and student payments, while adhering to university deadlines and policies.
• Provide secondary support to students with billing and accounts receivable issues and questions.
• Manage internal and external communications regarding tuition payments and discount inquiries.
• Maintain appropriate and timely communication with students within the Customer Relationship Management system.
• Work closely with various stakeholders on escalated student account issues.
• Communicate with students, vendors, and other third-party affiliates to reconcile and coordinate the student’s account.
• Ensure efficiency and accuracy of records.
• Comply with university, state, and federal regulations and procedures.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
