Internship Job Description

We are looking for candidates interested in developing their professional career in the field of multidisciplinary analysis and optimization, using surrogate modeling and artificial intelligence techniques to support decision making processes during aircraft design. The selected candidate will have the opportunity to work in an international environment and receive training on cutting-edge technologies. The main tasks will be related to the development of tools and methods for multidisciplinary analysis and optimization of aircraft systems, including the use of surrogate models and machine learning algorithms. The candidate will also participate in the integration of these tools within the overall aircraft design process and applying them on real use cases.

Required Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
  • Advanced level in English.
  • Knowledge in programming languages such as C++, Python or Fortran would be highly valued.
  • Experience in the use of high performance computing (HPC) environments and linux operating system.
  • Familiarity with aeronautical design tools (CATIA, FEM, etc.) and overall aircraft design methodologies.
  • Interest in the application of artificial intelligence techniques (Deep Neural Networks, Autoencoders, Transformers, Generative AI, etc.) to engineering problems.
