Job Summary

The Environmental Regulatory Engineer will be responsible for collecting, organizing, and analyzing large environmental monitoring datasets from various sources to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, organize, and analyze large environmental monitoring datasets.
  • Monitor ongoing data collection processes to ensure consistent and accurate data acquisition.
  • Identify and address data gaps, inconsistencies, or missing information.
  • Develop dashboards and reporting tools that provide real-time insights.
  • Translate complex data findings into clear, concise reports.
  • Collaborate with communications and marketing teams.
  • Help design and implement public campaigns.
  • Contribute to the creation of public-facing dashboards, websites, or apps.
  • Serve as a key liaison between data teams, communications, and external stakeholders.
  • Provide expert advice to senior leadership and external partners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced proficiency in data analytics and statistical modeling.
  • Excellent ability to communicate complex data insights.
  • Strong writing and presentation skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to analyze large datasets.
  • Creative thinker with a knack for developing interactive ways to share data.
  • Proactive and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passionate about using data to influence positive public engagement.

Additional Requirements

  • This is not a remote or hybrid position and will require relocation if not already local to the Cape Canaveral, Florida area.
  • Position occasionally requires the ability to work extended hours or weekends when needed.
  • Ability to travel to various locations including Florida, California, Texas.
  • Ability to travel internationally if required.
