Job Summary
As Via’s Equity Compensation Analyst, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our global equity programs. You’ll be the go-to expert for the Morgan Stanley/E*TRADE platform, overseeing plan administration, transactions, reporting, and troubleshooting—all while elevating the employee experience across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of the company’s equity compensation programs (stock options, RSUs, ESPP, and other awards) using the Morgan Stanley/E*TRADE platform.
- Oversee and process all equity transactions, including grants, exercises, releases, and terminations.
- Act as the primary point of contact for employee questions regarding equity awards, tax treatment, and use of the Morgan Stanley/E*TRADE portal.
- Ensure compliance with global regulatory requirements, tax rules, and company policies.
- Partner with Legal, Tax, Payroll, and Accounting teams to reconcile data and reporting.
- Support Finance team with quarterly stock-based compensation reporting and other equity-based reporting as needed.
- Serve as the main liaison with Morgan Stanley/E*TRADE to resolve system issues, implement upgrades, and coordinate ongoing plan enhancements.
- Support internal and external audits by providing documentation, reconciliations, and process overviews.
- Maintain accurate participant data and reconcile records between HRIS, payroll, and the Morgan Stanley/E*TRADE system.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with Morgan Stanley/E*TRADE equity compensation platform.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in stock plan administration, equity compensation, or related fields.
- Strong understanding of equity vehicles (options, RSUs, ESPP) and related tax/accounting implications.
- Proficiency in Excel and strong analytical/reporting skills.
- Knowledge of SEC, IRS, and global regulatory requirements affecting equity compensation.
- CEP (Certified Equity Professional) designation or progress toward CEP certification a plus.
Compensation and Benefits
Final salary will be determined by the candidate’s experience, knowledge, and skills. Salary reflected does not include equity or variable pay, where applicable. Salary Range: $85,000 – $140,000.
