Boeing Distribution, Inc. Boeing Global Services (BGS), Distribution Business, is looking for an Experienced Quality Engineer to join our team in Hialeah, FL.

Job Summary

As an Experienced Quality Engineer, you will lead the team to become resourceful in seeking answers/guidance to complex problems and perform duties related to customer and supplier facing activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the team to meet/exceed customer quality metrics to ensure customer preferred supplier status.
• Conduct Corrective Actions Board (CAB) with customers, suppliers, and internal BDSI organization.
• Ensure a robust RCCA that will satisfy internal and external requirements.
• Work with quality specialists to lead all purge activities and ensure containment is within 48 hours globally.
• Write quality plans, sampling plans, and inspections plans for customer products.
• Review RCCAs for trend analysis to work process improvements.
• Assist in writing and reviewing technical and performance specifications, quality plans, sampling plans, and inspections procedures.
• Drive PFMEA activity internally and with suppliers as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field of study.
• 4 – 6 years of related work experience.
• Experience with execution of root cause corrective actions (RCCA).
• Knowledge of AS9100/9120 Standards.
• Intermediate or higher proficiency working with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel).
• This position requires traveling up to 25% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous Aerospace experience.
• SAP experience.
