Job Summary

This Field Applications Engineering role is for a specialist in system design, networking and leader to our customers who believe that artificial intelligence is a new computing revolution and has the potential to transform the industry. NVIDIA is seeking an outstanding FAE with a focus on datacenter system and network design for AI computing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide onsite support for large datacenter deployments of NVIDIA AI solutions.
  • Solving complex hardware and deployment issues.
  • Be a technical specialist on GPU and networking products directly supporting sales account managers.
  • Actively establish the technical relationship with our customer’s engineers, management, and architects at focus accounts.
  • Identify customer architectures and key product requirements in the enterprise AI market.
  • Provide technical and sales training to the direct sales team and channel partners.
  • Establish strong relationships and communication channels with internal teams.

Requirements

  • BS or MS in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of work-related experience in the high-tech electronics industry in a system design role or technical customer support role.
  • In-depth knowledge of servers, storage systems, network devices, and other data center hardware.
  • Capable of working in a constantly evolving environment without losing focus.
  • Ability to multitask effectively in a multifaceted environment.
  • Expert analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong time-management and organization skills for coordinating multiple initiatives, priorities, and implementations of new technology and products into very sophisticated projects.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills in English with the ability to effectively collaborate with management and engineering.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with large-scale rollouts of datacenter equipment.
  • Networking knowledge — TCP/IP, RDMA, RoCE, NICs, Switches, etc.
  • C/C++ and Python programming skills.
  • Embedded Linux System, APIs, and similar embedded OS knowledge.
  • Experience working with OEMs in the industrial, military, and ruggedized computing space.
