This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Field Service Technician in the United States. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide critical on-site support and maintenance for advanced water purification systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform on-site troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of water purification equipment.
- Supervise installations, commissioning, and operational setup at customer locations.
- Provide classroom and hands-on training to customers on proper equipment operation and maintenance.
- Adjust equipment settings to meet technical specifications and optimize performance.
- Identify value-added service opportunities and propose proactive solutions.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction.
- Manage travel logistics, maintain expense records, and operate independently while meeting deadlines.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent, with technical training in mechanical, electrical, chemical, or industrial safety.
- 4–6 years of experience with electrical/mechanical equipment, including hands-on experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and instrumentation.
- Competence in reading blueprints, wiring schematics, and technical plans.
- Knowledge of industrial math, applied geometry, and practical trigonometry.
- Experience with preventive maintenance, report writing, and bench work.
- Previous exposure to water purification systems is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong computer skills and proficiency with office software.
- Ability to travel extensively (80–100%) and work independently in various field environments.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
