Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Final Line and End-of-Line (EOL) Process Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vehicle assembly processes and a deep understanding of Final Line and EOL systems and processes. This role is critical to ensuring high-quality vehicle delivery through robust process development, optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes in the Final Line and EOL areas.
  • Lead the integration and validation of systems including:
    • Fluid Filling
    • Wheel Alignment
    • Headlamp Aiming
    • ADAS Calibration
    • Vehicle Dynamic Testing (Rolling Road, DVT)
  • Conduct trial builds and process capability studies to ensure readiness for SOP.
  • Drive First Time Through (FTT) improvements by identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Quality, Production, Software, and Product Engineering) to ensure seamless process integration.
  • Support launch activities for new vehicle programs and model changes.
  • Develop and maintain PFMEAs, Control Plans, and Standard Work Instructions.
  • Support quality teams with root cause analysis (5-Why, 8D) and implementation of corrective actions (ICA/PCA).
  • Establish Statistical Process Control (SPC) and process monitoring systems to improve First Pass Yield (FPY) and reduce variability.
  • Manage engineering changes (ECRs, DRs, PCRs) by coordinating with relevant stakeholders and updating process documentation accordingly.
  • Lead continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives to enhance safety, quality, and efficiency.
  • Provide technical support to production teams and resolve day-to-day process issues.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.

Skills

  • Strong understanding of vehicle assembly and testing processes.
  • Hands-on experience with Fluid Filling and EOL systems and tools.
  • Proficient in data analysis and problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D, DMAIC).
  • Experience with MES, PLCs.
