Job Summary
The Health Planning Specialist is responsible for participation in planning, coordinating and evaluating the development and implementation of improved personal or environmental health services statewide.
Key Responsibilities
- Organizes and writes recommendations and health policies for consideration by policy making officials and councils.
- Maintains records on one or more planning or regulatory elements; prepares or assists in the preparation of special reports and in the selection of samples for evaluation purposes.
- Discusses and prepares Departmental data on program topics, issues and problems with education at the state and local levels of government to gain information necessary for recommendations.
Requirements
- Review applications submitted to the Department from individuals and/or entities who desire to own, operate, manage and/or provide services concerning the environmental health and/or health care to individuals in the state of Oklahoma.
- Ensure the applicant meets the requirements and is compliant with local, state and federal laws.
