Job Summary

Are you looking for an opportunity to share your experience in implanting security systems to safeguard our nation? As a systems security and network security engineer, you can identify the security system needed to assess vulnerabilities and recommend the best solution and security strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of security solutions that will protect infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and analyze complex challenges for customers using knowledge of network and security devices.
• Assess security threats and implement infrastructure controls.
• Develop relationships quickly and easily with other teams, communicating the complexities of security with a wide variety of audiences, including senior management.
• Implement infrastructure and cyber security controls, including enhanced detection and vulnerability capabilities.
• Perform risk and vulnerability assessments in network, system, and application areas.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in an ISSE, ISSO, or IT role.
• Experience with DoD architecture, strategic planning, and system architecture and design.
• Experience with programming or scripting, including PowerShell, Ansible, Python.
• Top Secret clearance.
• HS diploma or GED.

Nice If You Have

• Experience with automation tools and scripting languages such as Python and PowerShell.
• Knowledge of Zero Trust principles and frameworks such as NIST 800-207.
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
